TACKLE FOOTBALL (Grades 3-8)
Tackle Football is a fun and challenging sport. At the recreation level we try to keep our program instructional and regard safety first and foremost.
We highly recommend that all players begin a training program during the Summer months to prepare for the Fall season.
You might consider running on a daily basis, throwing and catching a football with friends, working on your muscular strength, and stretching so you might more easily avoid a potential injury.
*NOTE:  Football is not being capped at 25 players at any division, however after the deadline of July 15th, if any division is at 25 players or more, late sign ups will be placed on a wait list.

COST: $120.00
Players will be able to keep their game jersey

PHYSICAL

Tackle players must provide proof of physical-good for two years from date of physical.
We do keep valid prior physicals on file, so if you are not sure, feel free to inquire if your child(ren) still has a valid physical.
* NOTE * setting up appointments for physicals can take awhile.  Anyone without a valid proof of physical will not be able to participant in contact at practices until we have received at our office.

FUNDRAISER
* Note *
We are no longer offering the prize calendar fundraiser.  We have adjusted the prices accordingly.

Each player will be entered into a raffle drawing.  Prize TBD.

Besides Summer camp, Football is our most expensive program to operate. All equipment (helmets, shoulder pads, training equipment) and uniforms (Jerseys, game pants, practice pants, mouth pieces) have gone up in cost. We will also be seeking sponsorships to help lighten the load.  Example: Helmet that cost us $149.00 is now $279.00 and football equipment since the pandemic has become more difficult to find. We are also anticipating a large expense in 2025 when we need to replace the bulk of our helmets.  We will be looking at a price tag of $20,000-$25,000... gulp!
