Field Hockey
Introduction to Field Hockey Day:
Saturday, May 18
Time: 2:00pm3:30pm
Opportunity to try field hockey, to meet the high school coach and a few players, get some field hockey work in!
We are excited to offer our 2nd year of youth field hockey to the tri-town area!
For grades going into K-6.
K-2 will be an instructional program-2 nights per week with a few possible games with other towns on the weekends.
Grades 3-6 will have 2 practices twice per week. Games mostly on Saturdays. There may be a couple of Sunday dates.
Schedules will be available August 19.
Practice Locations:
High school Field Hockey field-park in student parking lot (first parking lot on left when you turn into the school campus. Walk thru large gate (near track) go straight along dirt road, first field on left)
Practices will begin Monday, August 19.
Monday & Thursday
Time:
5:30pm-6:30pm
Instruction: We will have assistance from the high school coach and players, as well as a few parents!
Cost: $ 60.00 (This will cover, uniform, goalie equipment, balls, etc…)
Equipment: If you need equipment, Gee & Bee sells a package for around $79.99 (Includes a bag, stick, shin guards and goggles)
Sports Recycling: We have an awesome sports recycle program, if you need cleats!
Registration opens
May 1. Deadline June 30.
We will do our best to accommodate the girls who wish to play soccer as well.
